Located at behind Fu Chun Community Centre and near to Metta Home, another vegetarian eatery known as Zi Zai Vegetarian was added to the heartland, serving local Chinese vegetarian food exactly the same as the other Zi Zai Vegetarian branch at Yishun Ring Road.
Again, do not expect a large menu here - it comprises some normal Zi Char dishes (vegetarian version with mock meat), Soup, Noodles and Set Meal pricing from $2.5 to $12. If you don't really fancy mock meat and looking for something unique, the choices are quite limited. However, it is good news for Vegetarians living around Marsiling MRT with more vegetarian choices and for meat-eaters to have some reasonable priced meal for a change.
I did not order their signature noodle dish - Fried Mee Sua which is also available at a Vegetarian Food Stall at Blk 166 Coffeeshop at the same price. Brown Rice porridge @ $3 and a piece of Roti Prata @ 80 cents was ordered instead.

With HPB's urging the Public to go for whole-grains, start making whole-grain choices today! It is therefore good to see this healthier choice - Brown Rice Porridge. It has few braised peanut (like those canned braised peanut), few mock fish shreds and some crispy square beancurd skin and garnished with coriander leaves.

Roti Prata was soft and the curry was flavourful.
If you are near the Woodland Polyclinic, Fu Chun Community Centre, Metta Home or getting your organic produces/products and vegetarian products from Wu Xin Vegetarian and Organic Products Shop at Blk 306 Woodlands St 31, you might want to go for a Chinese Vegetarian Zi Char Food at Zi Zai Vegetarian.
