Going to restaurant for meal often, not as pricey anymore …

Was at Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant last month. The place had been renovated and business model changed – new menu and pricing (Zi Char price).

Love the Sambal Tofu with Petai ($10) and Ladies finger with Mince ($9), which really paired well with rice. The Satay ($4.8) with 5 sticks of satay and serves with generous satay sauce. The quality of the satay is not the best, but it is fine with this pricing.  The Fried Wanton ($6) is a little disappointing, this product which we can find easily from vegetarian grocery does not taste good after deep-fried.

On the whole, it is a lovely cosy place for a nice simple vegetarian dinner. And I still see that cheerful, friendly helpful wait staff around.

Where: Greenland Vegetarian Restaurant. 789 & 791 Upper Serangoon Road, Singapore 534659. Tel: 63857477
