Dinner at True Veggie before attending Dharma Talk at
Zen Centre at Lor 25, Geylang on New Year Day.
Normally, non-vegetarian Buddhist would go for Vegetarian Meal
before any Buddhist activities. Guess, this could be why there’re so many
vegetarian eateries around this area.
It was 6.30pm, we ordered simple dishes like Yong Tau Foo ($4.8),
Claypot Mee ($5) and Wanton Mee ($3.5). Price is reasonable, but the Wanton Mee
I ordered, the noodle wasn’t well cooked, maybe due to overwhelming crowd. I can smell the ‘flour’ smell, not well
refresh in cold clean water and not fully cooked.
But, my sister told me, their Zi Char dishes are good.
