The
location itself is a little difficult to find, unless you have done your homework
that could be the reason for minimal crowds. It is within 15 minutes walking distant
from Serangoon MRT or take a bus instead.
The
set-up is strictly low-key unless you are there for the décor. Food-wise, it is
pretty much the same deal as most of the small vegetarian restaurant would serve,
good variety of local delights and some
Western Menu dishes. Service staff is friendly.
The
fresh salad vegetable that paired with the Yang Zhou Fried Rice S$4.5, make
this dish look appetizing.
Gado-Gado @ S$4
Gado-Gado
@ S$4 wasn’t that impressive and too simplified till it no longer authentic, with
firm tofu not deep-fried and lots of blanched cabbage that wasn’t drained well
and too watery. It diluted the tasty peanut sauce (quite oily).
Dried
Chilli Monkey Head Mushroom @ S$8, pair well with steamed rice.
