Travel from Downtown to Bugis station, just for lunch. My lunch
hour isn’t that long, so I went to Bugis Cube instead, thinking it shouldn’t be
as crowded as Fortune Centre.
There’re two vegetarian eateries at Bugis. This time, I’d
like to try 三味斋 formerly known as Jadeite
Vegetarian at level 3.
The dishes on the menu are rather common and quite similar
to most vegetarian eateries, the only thing I haven’t had before is Penang Kway
Teow @ $5.5.
How non-vegetarian Penang Kway Teow tastes like, I
don’t know and never had before. What is the difference between Fried Kway Teow
and Penang Kway Teow? I asked.
This Penang Kway Teow here is tasty and rather similar to Hokkien Noodle, instead of yellow noodle, it uses kway teow.
The 15-20 mins wait for the noodle to be served really
testing my patience. I guess, it is a small eatery with limited manpower, is
not uncommon to have such situation.
