Vegetarian Friendly: Mini Wok @ Singapore Post Centre

I was attending a training session at Singapore Post Centre. For lunch, where can I find Vegetarian food as there wasn’t any vegetarian eateries within the premises?  Besides, Subway and Pastamani that offers vegetarian option, where can I go?

Wanted to test how vegetarian friendly the Kopitam Foodcourt was. I went there and decide on the stall - Mini Wok, and tried my luck.  When it was my turn to order, I asked the middle age serving lady – Can I have a Vegetarian Fried Hong Kong Noodle?

Without any hesitation, she informed the kitchen of my order and even asked whether I consume egg. That was efficient. I smiled.

And knowing I do not reject egg in my order, she offered me free soup of the day - a bowl of Seaweed Egg Drop Soup and even tell me that was vegetarian. Fantastic! Great  service.

Vegetarian Version Fried Mee Suah @ S$4.50

Since, they provide personalized and customized service, I was a happy customer. I went back to the same stall for lunch next day and order Vegetarian Version Fried Mee Suah @ S$4.50.

In the Service Industry, providing good customer service is important, so that organization can be competitive and remain viable in the turbulent times of change. With that, providing customer with what they need or offer good alternative is the basic requirement.  Adapting to change, the special need of the customers and including Vegetarian option in the menu is an easy task.

A little note: The dish contains onion, just inform them to omit that if you don't consume onion.

Hi

Thanks a lot for this.

I'm so glad to see your list of vegetarian friendly places. I work at Singapore Post Centre and I was unaware that I could get vegetarian food from any stall other than the Indian (which I am honestly bored of now)

I will definitely check this out soon! Thanks and I look forward to more reviews from you.
