Via KMSPKS to Ru Lai Zai

The nearest vegetarian stall to KMSPKS, I guess is this place – Ru Lai Zai, maybe there is other which I don’t know yet.  3 years ago, a non-vegetarian Buddhist friend introduced it to me and we had a good vegetarian dinner there.

The way to this place from KMSPKS is via Gate 5 which is just beside the crematorium.  Walking pass the place after 5pm in the evening, the surrounding can be very quiet. Cut through the quiet Sin Min Industrial Estate, it will lead to the HDB flats nearby.

Hidden in the deep in the corner coffee shop at Blk 24 is Ru La Zai, it is just like any Zhi Cha Stall in any coffee shop just that it is Vegetarian! You don’t have to pass by the crematorium to come here, another route is from Upper Thomson Road near Thomson V One and Two, and it is buzzing with people and cars.

Claypot Bee Hoon @ S$3.5

Ordered the Claypot Bee Hoon @ S$3.5, it does not really look that presentable, but the good stuff was hidden in the soupy gravy, reasonably priced and tasty.  I like the bean sprout in it.  Their vegetarian satay looks very tempting but minimum order is 10 sticks @ S$6. As I can’t finish all, I have to forgo this.

Where: Ru Lai Zai. Blk 24 Sin Ming Road #01-51 Singapore 570024.
