Simply love the vegetarian duck rice and vegetarian chicken
rice ($3) at this stall located very near to Boon Keng MRT, the Hawker Centre.
There is always a long queue for the chicken rice, be
prepared to wait. You will never be
disappointed, as what you will get is warm crispy deep-fried mock chicken (made
from beancurd skin) fresh out from the wok. Hot food always taste better.
They make additional effort to present the chicken rice
beautifully and also with fresh ingredient - the cucumber is crunchy and fresh.
The vegetarian chicken chilli taste good
too and it also comes with a small bowl of soup.
The vegetarian duck rice – I just love the tasty rice with the
special sauce on it, which I haven’t find it selling anywhere. The soup is kway
chap soup, tasty.
I still haven’t figure out which day of the week, they will
serve chicken or duck rice. Their
Vegetarian Mee Soto and Vegetarian Mee Rebus are delicious as well.
